This shape has a story. I wanted to make another dragon shape (cause you can't have enough:)) and I worked like six hours on this one shape using tracing paper all taped together to get the wings right etc., and when it was finally right, I thought I need another one for a possible sticker. I drew this shape up in about a minute, looked at it and said to myself, "this is way better than the one I spent six hours on!" and so it came to be:)
The Details:
Each one of these whimsical pins and earrings are hand-painted by me, Robin Senour, so there are no two alike.
For me, art is communication. I created this little work of art, but the conversation between artist and viewer is complete when someone owns it.
The clear material I chose to paint on is durable and easy to bend to my will.
I have my very own laser that gives me the freedom to create any shape that I can think of.
I love color. Finding wonderful color combinations drives me from one piece to the next. I paint them until they say, “I’m done!”
If you are pin challenged, you can have a complimentary stand that will clip on the pinback, just indicate in your special instructions. It’s a little work of art, there are lots of ways to display it.
