The story of the minotaur is as varied as any ancient myth, told over and over down through human existence.  Usually he is depicted as a murderous monster slaying any who dare to make it to the center of King Midas' labyrinth; where he guards the king's gold. The Minotaur, in this representation, is from Picasso's version: Theseus only blinds the Minotaur, after which he becomes a symbol of peace and wanders the world with a young girl (representing innocence and the light of peace) speaking words of love.

The Details:
Each one of these whimsical pins and earrings are hand-painted by me, Robin Senour, so there are no two alike.

For me, art is communication. I created this little work of art, but the conversation between artist and viewer is complete when someone owns it.

The clear material I chose to paint on is durable and easy to bend to my will.

I have my very own laser that gives me the freedom to create any shape that I can think of.

I love color. Finding wonderful color combinations drives me from one piece to the next. I paint them until they say, “I’m done!”

If you are pin challenged, you can have a complimentary stand that will clip on the pinback, just indicate in your special instructions. It’s a little work of art, there are lots of ways to display it.
