The Official Shawl Pin
When I first started doing the wonderful show Stitches West, I didn't realize that all my pins are shawl pins. So I designed a shawl pin. The first time I showed them, I realized that it was actually a three-in-one shawl pin. You can use the straight piece, or use the spiral, or the two together.
