Each piece is unique, and this is accomplished in just three easy steps.
Travel:
- The artist travels throughout the unknown galaxies conducting interviews with a variety of planetary life. Those subjects showing qualities most desirable for artistic uses are subtly, invisibly marked. This part of the process is painless.
Manipulation:
- Through a series of time-tested incantations, Jungian analyses, and other painterly mediums, those unsuspecting subjects are lured into an enticing trap of plastic and paint. When the ceremonial smoke clears, the artist (like the proverbial witch in the fairytale) shoves the creatures into the oven. In the heat, they sort of shrink, if you will, down, down, down, to a conveniently wearable size. This is similar to the well-known steambath or sauna experience so popular here on Earth. The subjects are then removed from the oven, whereupon a clasping pin is surgically applied to their backs.
Training:
- A period of rehabilitation is required to train the little creatures to stop moving around trying to carry on their lives as if they were still full-sized.
And so, each piece is entirely unique.
